Visiting itinerary

For a romantic getaway, a family outing or a stay with friends,
The visit is an opportunity to live a real experience allowing you to appreciate both the history of the Champagne region and to understand the process of making the most prestigious of wines.

The visit of the Cité du Champagne allows you to travel among 4 different places: the historical cellars dug in the 18th century, the Museum of Champagne Trades, the House of the General Cooperative of Winegrowers and the 100% Grand Cru d'Aÿ vineyards. The combination of these sites will allow you to understand the different facets of champagne.

The Maison of the oldest cooperative of champagne's winegrowers illustrates the growth of the cooperative movement since the revolt of the winegrowers and the Protected Designation of Origin in the 20th century.

The winery and the visit of the century-old cellars offer a journey through time and the mysteries of Champagne making.

The Museum of Champagne Trades reveals the work of the vine and ancestral skills such as cooperage and glassmaking through a unique collection of original tools, incredibly staged.

The hillsides of Aÿ, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, allow visitors to understand the cycle of the vine from A to Z and the way man has shaped the landscape.

At the end of the tour, and according to the chosen formula, enjoy a commented tasting of Champagne Collet: discover the delicacy of the cuvée Brut, the elegance of the cuvée Brut Art Déco Premier Cru, or the character and richness of a vintage Champagne.
